About Us
Meet Dr. Massoumi
Dr. Massoumi became licensed to practice dentistry in California in 2007. She has participated in several CDA Care Clinics and Give a Kid a Smile Day events hosted by the California Dental Association.
In her personal life, Dr. Massoumi loves spending time with her family—consisting of her husband and two sons—and enjoys reading, traveling, photography, and playing Ping-Pong.

There are three core practices that Dr. Massoumi and Mercy Plaza Dental Group values and prioritizes. The practices are:
- Committing to raising awareness regarding oral hygiene and good dietary habits in order to improve the communities’ health and overall wellbeing
- Having concern with alleviating the fear and anxiety of going to the dentist for all her patients
- Investing in ongoing learning to continuously enhance the practice. For example, besides her years of experience and credentials as a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Pediatric Dentists and Kern County Dental Society, Dr. Massoumi takes several hours of continuous education at UCLA and USC Dental School every year in order to keep up with the latest technology and innovations within the field of dentistry.
